Rooted in Reading

The purpose of the Ðǿմ«Ã½ Library Reading Program is to promote reading for enlightenment, pleasure, growth and to share the wonderful resources available at your library. The goal of the program is for participants to read three books* during a semester and receive a full-size candy bar, honor penny, and a tree planted in a National Forest in honor of their accomplishment.
Guidelines for participation in this program:

1. This program starts on the first day of classes each semester and ends on the last day of classes.

2. Titles read in one semester do not carry over to another semester.
Ìý
3. *Books that qualify for this program:
- One book must be from the Ðǿմ«Ã½ Library or from the ebrary collection available on the Ðǿմ«Ã½ Library website
- One book may be from an Ðǿմ«Ã½ class (no textbooks)
- Books may be fiction and/or nonfiction
4. During the semester, participants must inform the library staff of the titles they have read to receive their prize.

All members of the Ðǿմ«Ã½ community, past and present, are invited to participate and receive the same recognition.
