The ÐÇ¿Õ´«Ã½ Distinguished Alumni Award is a high honor bestowed annually on an alumnus/alumna by the Montcalm Community College.ÌýAn alumnus/alumna is defined as an individual who has taken one or more courses at or has graduated from ÐÇ¿Õ´«Ã½.ÌýThis award will be presented at the Distinguished Service Award on June 24, 2025. Individuals currently employed by ÐÇ¿Õ´«Ã½ are not eligible for award.

Emily Petersen was awarded the Distinguished Alumni Award during ÐÇ¿Õ´«Ã½'s 57th Commencement Ceremony.

Submission Requirements

The nominee shall have advanced in their career and brought credit to themselves and ÐÇ¿Õ´«Ã½ through accomplishments in the following areas:ÌýÌý

• Achieve a high level of accomplishment and recognition in his/her career and life experiences.Ìý
• Demonstrate service to his/her community through community service, volunteerism, or involvement in the community.Ìý
• Embody one or more of ÐÇ¿Õ´«Ã½â€™s value statements:Ìý

  • We are a gateway of opportunity
  • We value and grow our people
  • Community is our middle name
  • We work on the institution, not just in it
