Hey friends, happy 2020! I absolutely love the new year. I know it’s an arbitrary date, but I really like to have the time around the holidays to go through my priorities for the upcoming year, and of course the opportunity to crack open a new planner (or 4 – ha!). This post will walk you through my 2020 planner lineup – I’m planning on doing more in-depth posts, but I couldn’t wait to introduce you to the lineup this year!
2020 Planner Lineup
This year I’m planning on using 4 different planners/notebooks. That can be kind of blasphemy in the planner community, but I’m a firm believer that everyones planning goals and needs are different, and there’s no perfect number when it comes to planning. With that being said, let’s dive in to the planners I’m using this year, and why I chose them!
Planner #1: Cultivate What Matters’ Powersheets Goal Planner
I just published a post walking through my experience doing the prep-work in this planner. I truly think this will help me achieve my goals for 2020, and it helped me choose my word of the year: CONSISTENCY!
This isn’t a weekly or daily planner by any means (each month has a monthly spread, and what’s called a tending list). The beauty of this planner had to have been the prep work – it caused me to dig deep and figure out what was truly important for me. I can’t wait to update you with my progress in my Powersheets planner!
Planner #2: Passion Planner
I bought the large 2020 dated Passion Planner in this BEAUTIFUL yellow, I seriously love it. I also adore the size of the planner. The big size makes it perfect for my editorial calendar, and all my blog & business related planning. I’ve tried to combine both personal & blog in one planner but it got way to overwhelming. Blog planning is also done mostly at home, so I didn’t necessarily need a planner that I had to carry around with me everywhere.
A walkthrough of this planner is coming, but I already adore how much space there is for planning my posts, content and more.
Planner #3: Erin Condren Life Planner
I bought this in a beautiful rose gold colour, and of course had to upgrade to get the rose gold rings. I wanted a weekly planner that was already set up, so that when I (undoubtedly) get overwhelmed again, I have a simpler way to plan. This Erin Condren planner will be used for all of my personal & household stuff (meal planning, household chores, appointments, and my day job).
Planner #4: My Bullet Journal
You can’t think I’d forget about my bullet journal! I am taking a simpler route with my bullet journal this year, and will be using it for brain dumps, lists, notes, and kind of a catch all for all my ideas. I haven’t set it up quite yet, but when I do I’ll definitely post a walkthrough!
