Whether you’re just stepping foot onto the bullet journal scene or have been around for a while, chances are you’ve heard of habit trackers. In short people use a habit tracker too, you guessed it, track their habits.
There are many reasons why someone would choose to include a habit tracker. They can be beneficial for seeing how often you do something, or for trying to stop bad habits.
Some of the common things to track in habit trackers are:
- Exercise or steps
- How much water you drink
- Sleep (i.e. wake up or go to bed by a certain time)
- No spend days
- Eating habits
- Self Care
The big thing I like to ask myself before adding something to my habit tracker is: why do I want to track this?
Typically my answer is because it will somehow help with my goals (i.e. if my goal is to loose weight than tracking how much exercise I get or how healthy I’m eating is beneficial to achieving that). If you answer ‘just because’ then you may want to reevaluate if it’s a habit you should be tracking. If you decide you still want too, then power to you! At the end of the day your bullet journal is your bullet journal and you can choose to include whatever you want.
