Another month, another bullet journal setup! March is full of elephants and purple, so if you’re into that sorta thing then lets dive into my March bullet journal setup.
March Bullet Journal Setup
You’ll notice this month that my March pages are similar in functionality to my February setup. It could be considered a bit boring and repetitive, but I’m excited because I’ve found a layout that really resonates with me!
My collections are down to the minimum and it’s all about planning because my life in 2019 is crazy. I work full time, have my blog here, my Etsy shop, I’m doing a course online, etc etc etc! It’s a gong show.
I’ve found a way to keep my bullet journal functional and practical, while still adding a bit of colour and washi!
Clean & simple + I love the elephant washi tape. You’ll see a lot of it in March!
Running To Do List:
Again, another necessity! I have lots of times where I’m working hard at something, and then something else I need to do pops into my brain. Instead of jumping ship and screwing up my productivity by switching to a new task, I can simply jot the idea down here to address it later. Multi-tasking isn’t possible Y’all.
March Budget & Expense Trackers
I’ve said it once, I’ll say it a million more times: these pages keep my bank account & finances sane. I fully credit these pages to staying on top of my money and making sure I’m not overspending.
I’m keeping my weekly pages pretty straight forward in March. I have bought a paper planner (gasp!) last month that I’m using for my daily planning. Don’t freak out – hear me out. I’m not abandoning my bullet journal. I simply am acknowledging my current workload (and a ginormous amount of things I need to get done every day) and I knew that I needed to have something a little bit more structured for this season of my life.
I’m going to dive into the planner with you guys in the near future, so hang tight if you’re interested in hearing more about what it is/why I’m using it.
Interested in recreating these pages? Here’s what I used for March:
- Peter Pauper Press a5 Dot Grid Journal
- Tombow Dual Brush Pen
- Tombow Mono Pen, 0.5
- Elephant Washi Tape from Michaels
- Stickers from my Etsy Shop
2019 has really been eyeopening in terms of what my priorities are, and acknowledging my time wasters. Why was I creating habit and mood trackers every month when they didn’t do it for me? I only have 24 hours in a day, and I really want to spend it the best way I can. If you’re trying to be more aware of how you’re planning, I hope you learn something from my March bullet journal setup.
