Wow, another month is done. Can you believe we only have one month left in 2018? It’s hard to believe! I’m busy setting goals for 2019, for both my blog and in my personal life, and I’m excited to see what the new year will bring. Before I get ahead of myself though, I want to quickly walk through my November blog report!

The three most popular posts on my blog in November were… *drumroll please*…….

I’m going to get real for a second. I feel like I’ve hit a bit of a wall in terms of my blog exposure and growth. The Instagram algorithm is SO HARD, I’ve only been gaining around 20 followers a month, and my blog views have dropped to around 40/50 a day, which is down from the 100+ I was getting a few months ago. However, I’m trying to stay positive! I truly enjoy blogging, and I’ve heard from other bloggers that around the 8 month/1 year mark is when a lot of bloggers give up. I don’t want to give up, and I’m not going to! I’m setting lots of goals for 2019, and I’m really truly excited to see how I can grow Zigzags & Zebras. 🙂
I’m just setting one goal for November – and that is to have a rough blog editorial calendar for 2019. Yep, you read that right – I want to plan a WHOLE YEAR of blog content this month. Obviously, it won’t be set in stone, but I really think I will benefit by knowing what my year holds.
How far in advance do you create an editorial calendar?
