Since my back to school shopping days, I have always been OBSESSED with stationery. Seriously, I can not have to many pens. This is the second post in my series of stationery reviews (you can read my first tombow review here), in the hopes that you can find pens that you love to use! This month, it’s the Papermate Flair Review!
Papermate Flair Review
Overall, I give the papermate flair pens a 9/10.
They come in a fair amount of colours, and the colours are super vibrant. These pens are honestly pretty shocking, a lot of pens I try the colour is kind of blah, these ones are really bright which is super fun! I enjoy using them in my bullet journal, as the colour really stands out when used in different headers and designs. They also last A LONG time, I have had some of mine for years and years and they still work and the colour is just as vibrant as my newer ones. I also love how the colour on the body of the pen is actually pretty bang on to what they look like on paper. It’s more than you can say about other pens!
I only have a couple of cons, the first being I wish they made more colours! I also have a heavy hand, and the tip presses down pretty easy. Which is a bit of a bummer, cause I like a really thin line. I’m definitely to blame there though, because like I said I press down hard, haha. These pens ghost a bit in my Leuchtturm1917 but now bleeding, and its nothing I can’t handle. I like a journal that looks lived in anyways!
