One of the cool things that I’ve stumbled upon this year would definitely have to be the world of art & planning on the iPad with apple pencil. Within this world has been the immense library of classes on Skillshare for the iPad! I’ve been having a blast playing around with all the skillshare procreate classes for lettering/design/art and I wanted to share some of them with you here today.
Skillshare Procreate Classes for iPad
What do I need?
First, you want a membership to Skillshare! They have a basic membership which includes access to limited classes (and it’s free), or you can get the premium membership and you get access to over 10,000 classes in business, art, design, photography, and more! I truly recommend the premium membership as the classes are AMAZING – plus you can get 2 months for FREE by signing up right here!
For the classes I’m talking about today, you’ll need the Procreate App which is available in the iTunes store for $13.99 CAD. I would really recommend having the apple pencil and a compatible iPad since that allows you to use the pressure sensitivity feature! However, I’m sure you can have just as much fun with an older iPad and stylus. 🙂 For reference, I have the 9.7-inch 2018 iPad and Apple Pencil.
Skillshare Procreate Classes
Keep reading to find the list of all the classes I have taken on Procreate! I’m going to keep updating this as I work through my MASSIVE list of saved classes, so be sure to check back. The italicised classes are ones I haven’t quite gotten to yet. If you’ve taken a class that isn’t on this list please let me know in the comments!
Intro to Procreate Lettering: This is a great beginner class as she teaches you some procreate basics, and some great tips for lettering!
Ink & Watercolour Botanicals on your iPad: This was a fun one from Liz, and honestly I never knew I could make floral artwork that actually looks like it was supposed to. Her classes are great too because she includes some free procreate brushes!
Creative Bullet Journaling on your iPad in Procreate: This class was a super fun way to bring my love of bullet journaling to my iPad.
Put your hands up if you want to take a month off of all other responsibility to play on Procreate!
